12/21/06 -- There's just nothing like a great soup to help recover from the Christmas shopping hordes. Tonight it seemed to taste better than ever -- maybe because I had fresh dill from Harry's Market and some stems of fresh thyme still surviving out on the deck, along with the addition of fresh Italian parsley. Anyway, you just can't beat the Cauliflower Potato Soup, a recipe of the Sunflower Cafe in Sandy Springs that was published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution a couple of years ago (probably still at the AJC website. And I love the stick blender for pureeing half of the soup; it means I don't have to take up half of the dishwasher with processor parts.
